Seaker Acqui-hires FunGuy Labs Team, Enabling Holistic Client Solutions & New Digital Innovation

The Seaker Group is proud to announce the acquihire of the innovation consultancy “Fun Guy Labs” and the addition of Zach Adamson and David Monhait who have joined The Seaker Group as Partners and Strategic Advisors.  Zach and David are co-founders of the consulting firm, Fun Guy Labs, who’s expertise in Corporate Innovation, Branding, Marketing, Experience Design, Operations and Technology Development, was utilized by fortune 500 companies like Nike, Red Bull and Disney as well as numerous startups and their own Location-Based Entertainment business called, “DIVERTsessions”.

The acquihire of Zach and David will create exciting new verticals for the Seaker Group allowing them to service clients in a more holistic, meaningful and long-term way. Specifically, Seaker will now have the capabilities to service a wide variety of clients' growth needs in brand, marketing, experience design, operations and technology.

This addition to The Seaker Group will also bring the necessary skills in tech innovation, digital experience design, UI design, tech development, rapid prototyping, user testing, product marketing and customer service that will enable The Seaker Group to begin development of a highly anticipated SaaS product for the Location-Based industry.

Originally founded by Ashley Robinson as Seaker LLC, in 2017, the company has grown to become one of the leading Strategic Advisory Firms for location-based Brands in the country and is now doing business as, “The Seaker Group.”  

The Seaker Group was born out of the explosion of available data introduced to location-based businesses within the last decade.  Operators growing at enterprise levels watched as state to state cost variables like Labor and Cost of Goods got wider, while consumer behavior became even more difficult to predict.  Anticipating the need for industry-specific data analysis in a non-data savvy industry, Ashley invested several years with a start-up data company, getting a rare behind the tech-curtain look for real estate professionals.  

Ashley’s unique industry experience as a Landlord, Broker, Retailer, Restaurateur and Data Analyst allowed her the 360-degree perspective to address one of the industry’s most complicated problems: how to successfully execute Brand-driven and data-backed strategic growth for Location-Based Brands.

The Seaker Group also applies data-driven tools to support the required executive strategic decision making that comes with growth. Working with companies like Placer.ai and Uber Media (now NEAR) as an early adopter of Mobile/Location Based Data, Ashley has now completed more location-data case studies than any other consultant in the county.  

Obtaining Placer’s very first Collaboration and Implementation Agreement, The Seaker Group is leading data-backed strategic efforts for some of the largest companies in the world and some of the most promising up and coming companies as well.
